Tyler Boland

Born in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Tyler began his youth hockey career playing two seasons of Midget Major hockey for the St. John’s Maple Leafs. In his first season (2012-2013), Tyler scored 6 goals and 10 assists, for a total of 16 points in 17 games played. The following year, Tyler netted 15 goals and 12 assists, for a total of 27 points in 23 games played.

After being drafted 180th overall by the Rimouski Oceanic in the 10th round of the 2013 QMJHL Entry Draft, Tyler scored 7 goals and added 12 assists in 47 games during his rookie season.

During the 2014-2015 season Tyler will be looking to make his mark and take his game to the next level as a key member of the Oceanic.
