Adam Mccormick

Born June 25th, 2000 in Woodstock, New Brunswick, Mccormick was a rookie defenseman in the 2016-17 season playing for the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles of the QMJHL as a 16-year-old. After enjoying some serious success as an offensive defenseman in both Bantam and Midget AAA in which he scored 35 points over a 60 game span, Mccormick continued his success with Cape Breton in the 2016-17 season,  scoring 21 points which included five goals and 16 assists. Mccormick finished the season as the 4th highest scoring 16-year-old defensemen in the QMJHL.

At 5’11, 180lbs, Mccormick has been classified as one of top rookie puck-moving defensemen in the QMJHL. With his premier skating abilities and hockey sense, Adam is an extremely exciting prospect. As a young player who recently finished his first season in his QMJHL career, Mccormick has a promising future and is eligible for the 2018 NHL Entry Draft.
