Rafael Harvey-Pinard

Born on January 6th, 1999 is a skilled offensive player who is currently playing for the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies in the QMJHL. Harvey-Pinard, standing at 5’8” 155lbs is a fast forward who has the natural talent to put the puck in the net.

Rafael’s hockey career took off when he began to play with the Jonquiere Elites, in the Quebec midget AAA league. In 2015, Rafael was drafted 130th  overall in the QMJHL draft to the Huskies.  To start off the 2015-16 season, Rafael continued to play for his midget AAA team, where scored 18 goals and 52 points in 45 games for the Elites. Harvey-Pinard’s impressive numbers gave him the chance to get called up for a few games to play with the Huskies in the Q that season.

Rafael earned himself a spot on the Huskies at the beginning of the 2016-17 season, and since then has never looked back. Rafael scored ten goals and 23 points in 50 games with the Huskies, and he played in 7 playoff games with them. Rafael’s quick hands and ability to finish makes him an exciting player to watch, and CEM can’t wait to watch him develop into the player he one day will be. Rafael is expected to play for the Huskies in the QMJHL again next season.
