Taylor Ford

Born on May 14th, 1997 in Lasalle, Quebec, Ford recently began his third QMJHL season with the Halifax Mooseheads. After two very strong seasons that saw the rugged defensemen post 32 points and over 150 penalty minutes, Ford was named the captain of the Halifax Mooseheads.

Since being named the captain of the Mooseheads, Ford has scored 8 points in 37 games and was heavily relied on by his team, being a veteran player and a captain who shows by example. On January 5th, 2017, Ford was traded to the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies and helped the team finish second overall in the QMJHL. Ford scored 6 points in 26 games for the Huskies and played in 12 playoff games, but Ford and the Huskies season eventually ended in a second-round playoff loss.

Ford’s extremely successful careers in both Midget AAA and the QMJHL, as well as his 6’1” 200lbs frame,  are major reasons why CEM has pursued the young talent; and now that he is with us, we could not be happier.
